Visit the inn and upstairs you'll find Haruka. You can find the second in Kusa Village, after learning Galestorm. The first is in Shinshu Field and it's also the easiest one, just speak with the priest beside the access to the Moon Cave. There are three four lists you'll need to collect. By winning, you'll also obtain Stray Bead #90. From Hayate, you'll earn Stray Bead #45.Īfter defeating the twin owls, go back to Yoshpet's entrance. From Ida you'll earn the GImmick Gear, that will give you access to Thunderbolt as well as the Travel Guide " Thunderstorm Tech". The messengers in Shinshu Fields and Ryoshima Coast will ask you to race three times each. You'll need to defeat Ninetails before you can run every race. Just speak with Mushi a couple of times after turning Kamiki back to normal. There are a few achievements related to additional side quests. Should you need tips on how to progress the plot, let me know and I'll add them.ĭefeat the imps that possessed Princess Fuse.ĭefeat the twin demons, Lechku and Nechku. For them, there's no need of any explanation. You can obtain them simply by following the storyline. Check the " Barking Up the Cherry Tree" section for additional information on how to earn Demon Fangs. While playing, something you'd really need to do is stacking up Demon Fangs to avoid needless grinding later in the game. I recommend checking that section of the guide and try to keep in mind its content, as it will help you avoid a double playthrough. However, you can miss the " From Imps to Demons" achievement, as it requires additional bosses as well as certain enemies you can only find in areas you can't visit again or inside the Devil Gate Trials. " Out of the Gate Swinging" can also be completed right before the game's ending, along with " Who Let the Dogs Out". While working for your Fishing Tome you'll get a certain Travel Guide and to get all Stray Beads you'll need to complete pesky side quests (that might unlock achievements, like " Dog Gone Fast") or visit places you wouldn't normally visit and while doing so you're likely to find Travel Guides or animals. There are some things, however, that you'll have to keep in mind, and that is: they're all linked. I actually recommend that you wait 'til the final section of the game, just before boarding the Ark of Yamato, aka the point of no return. What about the rest? Well, the Animal Tome, the Fishing Tome, the Stray Beads' log, the Treasure Tome, the Travel Guides and the Technique Scrolls can all be completed anytime, really. You'll unlock the achievement as soon as you touch the ground. When the Water Dragon's music stops, you're safe and you can swim back to shore. I recommend swimming directly towards the beach where the Animal Lover is, using Waterlily in combination with Galestorm to gain speed. If you miss this one, you'll either have to load a previous save if you have it or just try again in the next playthrough, but worry not: it's pretty easy to get. Failing to escape the Water Dragon's jaws for the first time will prevent you from earning the achievement on that playthrough. The only tricky one might be " No Furball on the Menu". Getting a Cherry Tree rank for the " Lupine and Divine" achievement? You're extremely likely to get them right on your first or second fight in the Cave of Nagi. Optional achievements are achievements that you're very likely to earn naturally during your playthrough, again, due to their nature. Keep in mind that story achievements you'll be able to earn by simply proceeding through the main plot. Since we decided to make this guide more achievement-oriented than an actual walkthrough, you'll find that figuring out what you should do first can become a chore due to this guide's fundamental structure.
